The 100BASE-FX SFP transceiver operates at 1310 nm over multimode fiber (MMF) with a duplex LC connector, delivering 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet up to 2 km. It plugs into any SFP MSA slot, is hot-pluggable, and follows the SFF-8472 management interface.
